This week, The Dallas Morning News’ panel of nine college football experts — including columnists, writers and editors from The News as well as personalities from The Ticket, FSSW, NBC5 and the Denton Record-Chronicle — makes predictions for 20 different college football games, both straight and against the spread.

This week’s marquee game is routinely one of the biggest games on the college football calendar each fall. And while both teams are limping into the matchup coming off losses (or in the case of Oklahoma, two straight losses), this year’s Red River Showdown still has major implications in the Big 12 Championship Game race and on the area college football landscape as a whole.

Another major game of note: Texas A&M hosting Florida. The Aggies will be looking to get back on track after a loss to Alabama last weekend. But Florida, led by Kyle Trask and Kyle Pitts, seems to be rolling early this season and will enter Saturday’s game favored despite the fact it’s being played at Kyle Field.

With four of the 10 Big 12 schools on a bye this week, there are only two other Big 12 games on this week’s slate. But both games include local schools looking for key wins. Texas Tech will travel to Iowa State as a double-digit underdog, while TCU hosts Kansas State as a double-digit favorite.

Our predictions for those four games, as well as 16 others, can be found below:
