HyperX Alloy Origins gaming keyboard gets clicky Blue switches: Hands-on

HyperX added a satisfying click to its Alloy Origin gaming keyboard with its own HyperX Blue switches. The $110 full-size gaming keyboard (£110, AU$153 converted) was previously available with the company’s tactile Aqua switches and linear Red switches. The combination of the Alloy Origin with HyperX’s Blue mechanical switches gives you a slim, sturdy gaming keyboard with a classic clicky typing experience and a bit more speed over the competition.

How Blue and White is both left and right

The party formed to represent the Israeli center has been going to extremes. On one side there are the loud voices from the Left side of the party, but there are voices on the Center-Right side as well.On the Center-Left, there is Tourism Minister Asaf Zamir, whose resignation takes effect on Monday; Science and Technology Minister Izhar Shay, who almost quit last week; and MKs Miki Haimovich and Ram Shefa, who voted against limits on political demonstrations in the Knesset.Haimovich made news on Sunday, when she said there is a group that is growing in Blue and White that is interested in breaking up the partnership with Likud. Other MKs talked about starting to vote more independently. But even if they are growing, they are still the minority in the party. The overwhelming majority of the MKs in the Blue and White-Derech Eretz-Labor bloc prefers staying the course and continuing the strategy

Halley’s Comet Meteors, Dazzling Mars And Halloween’s ‘Blue Moon’

October is a always great month to go stargazing, and in 2020 it’s got some truly unmissable sights.

In the northern hemisphere October means longer nights, and when the clocks change it makes stargazing a possible in the early evening.

It’s also the month that the jewels of the winter night sky begin to return; the unmissable Andromeda Galaxy—the closest giant galaxy to our Milky Way—is becoming visible right after dark while towards the end of the month the sparkling Pleiades star cluster will rise in the east before midnight.

The planets are lingering. Jupiter and its four Galilean moons shine brightly in the south after dark with dimmer Saturn in tow, but this month it’s the turn of Mars to dominate post-sunset skies as it comes to opposition. Meanwhile, Venus sparkles in the pre-dawn skies.

Harvest moon tonight and a rare blue moon on Halloween

As if 2020 isn’t weird enough, it’s a year with 13 full moons rather than 12 — and two of these will occur in October.

October’s first full moon is the harvest moon on October 1, and the second full moon will occur on October 31. That’s right: a full moon on Halloween.

The full harvest moon will rise at 5:05 pm ET on October 1. The name is given to the full moon that occurs closest to the autumnal equinox. While this full moon usually occurs in September, a full moon on September 2 was too early to be known as the harvest moon. In 2019, the full harvest moon occurred on Friday, September 13.

The full harvest moon provides light for farmers harvesting their crops into the night, according to the Farmer’s Almanac.

The moon will appear full for about three days, according to

Hot Jupiters are Jupiter-like exoplanets located in close proximity to their host stars, hence their name. Ultra-hot Jupiters are basically the same thing, but, as you’ve probably guessed, they’re even hotter. Back in 2018, astronomers using the ground-based WASP-South telescope in South Africa detected an ultra-hot Jupiter dubbed WASP-189b, unlike anything seen before.

Two years later, using the brand-spanking-new Characterising Exoplanet Satellite (CHEOPS) space telescope, astronomers have gazed upon this celestial wonder with new eyes, refining what we know of this unusual exoplanet, while at the same time affirming the tremendous potential of this European space telescope, which only began making scientific observations this past April.

How SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin and others compete in the growing space tourism market

There’s an emerging industry thought to be only science fiction not too long ago that’s close to becoming a reality: space tourism.

But what space tourism entails, and how much it costs per person, varies greatly depending on a company’s technological capabilities.  For example, both Virgin Galactic and SpaceX expect to fly private paying passengers to space next year. But, while passengers flying with both companies would go to space by the Federal Aviation Administration’s definition, a Virgin Galactic passenger spends about 0.04% as much time in space as on a SpaceX trip, while a ride with Elon Musk’s company
