Agency Reveals Details About Bennu, Including Finding Possible Lifeforms

NASA has shared more information about asteroid Bennu and the agency’s mission to bring back samples of the asteroid’s surface through their OSIRIS-REx mission on Oct. 20. The 861-foot asteroid may contain ingredients for life.

In a recent article shared by NASA, the Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) is set to travel to a near-Earth asteroid named Bennu to collect a 2.1-ounce sample and bring it back to Earth for further study. German automotive brand Mercedes Benz has just announced a new strategic course that will focus on profitable growth in the luxury vehicle segment and target leadership in electric drive and car software.

iPhone 12 got a major leak just before launch day: Details on price and release dates

Apple’s official event is Tuesday, but possible leaks about the next iPhone — widely expected to be called the iPhone 12 — continue to come out. Leaker Kang posted on Chinese social media site Weibo that there will be four models of iPhones that range in price from $699 to $1,099, according to The Verge. 

The models include an iPhone 12 Mini with a 5.4-inch display, which starts at $699 and will be available for preorder on Nov. 6 or 7 with retail availability of Nov. 13 or 14. The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will start at $799 and be available to preorder on Oct. 16 or 17, with release on Oct. 23 or 24. Both models come with storage options ranging from 64 gigabytes to 256GB.

In mid-August, just before dry lightning storms ignited a series of fires that would break records in California, an intense heatwave resulted in rolling blackouts on two consecutive days. The trouble came in the evening, when solar generation drops off, leading some to claim this was the consequence of relying on renewable electricity. But it’s not that simple, as the outages could have been avoided. A new “preliminary root cause analysis” report from two state commissions and the California Independent System Operator that runs the grid presents a clearer picture of what went wrong.

Trump says he’s ‘medication free,’ details COVID-19 recovery in first on-camera interview since diagnosis

President Trump opened up about his ongoing recovery from the novel coronavirus on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Friday, sitting down for his first on-camera interview since he tested positive last week. 

Speaking to Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marc Siegel in a remote interview from the White House, Trump said he was “medication free” as of Friday and feeling “really, really strong.” 

The president acknowledged that before he went to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Oct. 2, he “didn’t feel very vital” and “didn’t feel like the president of the U.S. should feel.”

Trump returned to the White House on Monday after spending three nights at the Bethesda, Md. hospital. He touted the beneficial effects of Regeneron’s experimental antibody cocktail, which he said made a “tremendous difference” in his recovery.

PS5 Preorder Details: Consoles Still Sold Out, PS5 Accessories And Games Available

Sony finally revealed the launch date and price points for the PlayStation 5, which means it’s time to start looking for a PS5 preorder. Launching November 12 at $500 for the standard console and $400 for the digital edition, the PS5 went up for preorder right after the recent PS5 event, and since then, stock has sold out at all major retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, and Target.

GameStop had a second wave of PS5 preorders available to preorder on September 25, both online and in stores. Once again, the retailer had a virtual queue.
