Get ready, online shoppers. Amazon Prime Day 2020 technically starts on Tuesday, but many of the deals are already live. Case in point: Previously announced sale prices on Fire tablets are now available. The Fire HD 10, Amazon’s best tablet, has dropped down to just $80 ($70 off), the lowest price we’ve ever seen for it. The Kids Edition of the Fire HD 8 is also down to $80. Price drops on the 7-inch version of the Kids Edition haven’t hit yet, but Amazon has already pledged that it will be dropping to $60, which is $40 off its list price of $100. Both Fire Kids Edition tablets include a case and a year of Amazon’s Kids Plus subscription service, a $36
OnePlus is bringing its OnePlus 8T this week, and the teasers just don’t seem to stop. Almost every day now, OnePlus is feeding the excitement ahead of the OnePlus 8T with teasers about either the OnePlus 8T smartphone itself, or other products that the company might launch alongside the smartphone. The latest comes from OnePlus’ Nord Instagram handle. The company has hinted that a new Sandstone variant for its more affordable OnePlus Nord smartphone might also be launched during the October 14 launch event.
The OnePlus Nord Instagram handle shared an image, which seems like the OnePlus Nord’s back panel’s impression on black sand. The company is calling the Sanstone variant of the OnePlus Nord a special edition. The company has not said if this will be any different from the OnePlus
Ever since the pandemic hit, Nintendo has been struggling to keep up with demand for its Switch and Switch Lite game consoles. But according to an early August GameSpot report, Switch console production is back in full swing — or close to it, at least. And while inventory levels are hardly back to normal, in recent weeks it’s been possible to actually find the Switch at online stores like Best Buy and Amazon at its regular $300 price.
Case in point: Right now, the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition is actually in stock at Amazon for $299. Note that this special edition of the Switch just comes bearing snazzy Animal Crossing artwork. You still need to buy the Animal Crossing game separately.
In many cases these consoles are still popping in and out of stock like soap bubbles bursting in the bath. But now that we’re seeing
Halo Infinite won’t be out until sometime next year, but one retailer recently updated its website with details on a new special edition of the game.
In the US, Best Buy will sell a $105 USD bundle that comes with the standard edition of the game, as well as a SteelBook case and a Master Chief PVC statue. It also includes a $10 reward when you pre-order, though the store is not yet accepting orders. The page is very sparse at the moment, so we don’t know further specifics like the exact dimensions/details of the statue.
This appears to be the first Halo Infinite special edition bundle, and it’s expected that more will be announced in the lead-up to the game’s release in 2021. And if Microsoft is cooking up a special-edition Xbox Series X/S console, a safe bet is that it might be for Halo Infinite, but this is
Samsung has just revealed the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE), the newest member of the Galaxy S20 series. Samsung says the Galaxy S20 FE is a “premium flagship smartphone that includes innovations Galaxy fans told us they love most, made available at an accessible price point”.
Samsung has aimed to keep fan-favourite features from its March 2020 flagship Galaxy S20 series – such as the 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, an AI-powered camera, its latest S20 chipset, a 4500mAh 25-hour battery, wireless charging to juice up your Galaxy Buds Live and other Galaxy wearables, plus up to 1TB expandable storage – and packaged them into a 6.5″ super AMOLED display handset that’s available in six colourways. Your options are Cloud Navy, Red, Orange, Mint, White and Lavender – all with the fingerprint-smear minimising ‘Haze’ finish, as seen in the S20 Mystic Bronze hue.
