“Honestly, I wasn’t even looking to buy the camera, I was actually looking to buy the film,” said Atlanta camera collector Jodi Benaroch. “This kind of film has been discontinued many, many years ago, but I do have one or two other cameras that use it.”
Benaroch says she bought the old film and Kodak Instamatic camera from an eBay seller in Hawaii for about $60.
She says she noticed the number “8” on the back of the device, which meant there were someones’ photos inside.
Enough of the turnovers, the Jackets decided. Using a bye week to concentrate on ball security, they seemed to flush from their system the 10 turnovers from their previous two games. It was a most effective purge, as they gave Louisville exactly no help this night.

No wet ball eluded their grasp, while the Cardinals committed three fumbles that were all costly. Credit Tech’s comfort with the elements, players and head coach agreed, to the waste of a perfectly good, expansive and expensive indoor practice facility. On rainy practice days, the Jackets are known to step outside and slop around just to get comfortable with the elements.
The best that can be said of a Tech defense that gave up 471 yards to Louisville and allowed the Cardinals a 13-minute advantage in time of possession was that it was anxious to pick
A pair of second-year coaches attempting to hit the .500 mark on the season will meet Friday night with Louisville visiting Georgia Tech in a battle of teams that have started 1-2 so far in 2020.
Scott Satterfield’s Cardinals entered the season with plenty of hype after leading one of the best single-year turnarounds in the country, finishing in solo second place in the ACC Atlantic Division behind Clemson with an 8-5 overall record. With three key pieces of a prolific offense back — quarterback Malik Cunningham, running back Javian Hawkins and wide receiver Tutu Atwell — the conversation going into 2020 included Louisville as a conference-championship contender. No one was suggesting that the gap with Clemson had been closed in just one season, but in this 10-game, one-division ACC format in place for 2020, it was definitely considered a possibility that the Cardinals could finish in one of the
“We practice in the rain all the time,” Gibbs said. “When it rains we just keep practicing outside to get used to it.”
Georgia Tech (2-2, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) snapped a two-game losing streak. Javian Hawkins ran for 155 yards for the Cardinals but his fumble in the fourth quarter was costly. Jordan Domineck’s recovery near midfield set up Sims’ scoring pass to Gibbs, who vaulted defensive back Isaiah Hayes at the goal line
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets had a rough outing against the Syracuse Orange two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. The Yellow Jackets had enough points to win and then some against the Louisville Cardinals on Friday, taking their game 46-27. That result was just more of the same for Georgia Tech, who also won the last time these teams played (Oct. 5 of 2018).
QB Jeff Sims had a stellar game for Georgia Tech as he passed for two TDs and 249 yards on 21 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 64 yards. RB Jahmyr Gibbs was in the mix, too, providing Georgia Tech with two touchdowns.
Louisville’s loss came about despite a quality game from QB Macale Cunningham, who passed for two TDs and 229 yards on 33 attempts in addition to rushing
