Official render reveals the Huawei Mate 40 series’ unique camera array

huawei mate 40 octagonal camera array
  • An official render of a Huawei Mate 40 series phone has surfaced online.
  • The render suggests at least one of the phones in the series will sport an octagonal camera array.
  • It seems the phone will also sport physical volume buttons.

Growing tired of the all-too-common rectangle camera arrays on flagships? The Huawei Mate 40 series may represent something of a break. According to a teaser (via GSMArena) posted to Weibo by Huawei’s head of mobile product, He Gang, at least one of the phones in the range will sport an octagonal camera array.

Judging by the render, the six-sided array will occupy a large portion of the phone’s upper third. It’s a stark departure from previous non-official renders portraying the Mate 40 with a circular camera array. The render doesn’t give us much info on the actual sensor arrangement or how many shooters will be present. Huawei fans

Acura is considering an official restoration program for the first-generation Acura NSX, according to a report from Tire Meets Road. The report claims that a member of the NSX team discussed the idea with owners during a virtual version of the NSXPO annual gathering for NSX owners. “We have research going out to 2,000 [NSX owners] in the United States asking their level of interest in the overall idea of a refresh

Google’s New Chromecast Is Launching Without An Official Stadia App

The saga of Stadia, Google’s streaming game service that still hasn’t released in many regions around the world, keeps getting stranger. Google has just released a new Chromecast for TVs, and while it comes with over 6500 apps, Stadia isn’t one of them right now.

The Verge got their hands on the new Chromecast, which comes with Google TV, and found that there was no official Stadia app at launch. While they were able to get Stadia working through sideloading, it’s not an ideal solution, and it means that using Google’s service on this Google product at launch is inconvenient.

According to The Verge, the device will be updated to support Stadia officially in “the first half” of 2021. Stadia is officially supported by the Chromecast Ultra, which makes its lack of inclusion here especially confusing. The only way to get the Ultra now is through the Stadia Premiere Edition

Unlike the Google Home’s air freshener aesthetic, the Nest Audio’s soft rounded corners and vaguely rectangular shape make it more reminiscent of a loaf of bread standing on its end. Like the Nest Mini, it’s completely wrapped in fabric, which you can get in a few different colors. Also like the other Nest speakers, there are four colored LEDs embedded in the fabric that light up when the speaker hears or responds to a voice command. You
