Apple iPhone 12 Launch: Pricing, Model Specs Leak Out Ahead of Event

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 12 next week but details supposedly spilling the beans on the tech giant’s forthcoming first-ever 5G phones have emerged on social media.

A user on China’s Weibo with the handle “Kang” on Friday posted info allegedly revealing pricing and specifications for four new Apple smartphones — the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini — as well as a new cheaper HomePod mini smart speaker, as spotted by MacRumors.

The caveat: The info is unconfirmed and may not fully square with what Apple actually announces at its launch event, slated for Oct. 13. It’s not clear how Kang came by the details. That said, according to AppleTrack, whoever Kang is has a good track record of predicting Apple announcements, including accurately reporting several of the company’s announcements from this year’s WWDC and the new iPad Air model

A new leak has provided extensive details about what Apple could announce at its October 13th event. In line with previous rumors, the leaker Kang predicts we’ll see Apple announce four new iPhone models at its event, but says we’ll also see a new HomePod mini smart speaker. They also provide a host of extra details and release information for the iPhone 12 lineup. According to AppleTrack, Kang has a reliable track record, and accurately predicted several of Apple’s WWDC and September event announcements this year.

Mazda UK releases range and pricing for upcoming MX-30

The full specifications and price list for Mazda’s hotly anticipated first all-electric production vehicle, the Mazda MX-30, has just been revealed. This stylish and versatile crossover EV features an AC synchronous electric motor and a 35.5kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers a range of approximately 124 miles (200kms) on a single charge, and it even comes with AC charging up to 6.6kW and DC rapid charging designed to meet 125A Combo Charging standards.

Tesla Drops Solar Roof Pricing

Tesla has updated their Solar Roof webpage and dropped prices for the product on the final day of the company’s third quarter.

The webpage redesign highlights a new durability comparison video of a Solar Roof tile compared to traditional roof tiles. While not the most scientific of tests, the Solar Roof tile survives the striking blow of a hammer while the other two tiles crack and shatter. The Solar Roof tile seems to have a little more flexibility when struck which could be beneficial for situations such as hail storms.

Tesla also outlines the installation process for prospective customers, from design to powering on the system. “Our in-house team of energy professionals has installed more than 3.6 GW of clean solar energy across 400,000 roofs—the equivalent of 10 million traditional solar panels. PAR Technology Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock

PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR), a leading global provider of point of sale (POS) software, hardware and integrated technical solutions to the restaurant and retail industries, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 3,350,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $38.00 per share, for total gross proceeds of $127.3 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and expenses payable by PAR Technology. All of the shares to be sold in the offering are being offered by PAR Technology. In addition, PAR Technology has granted Jefferies LLC, the underwriter of the offering, a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 502,500 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
