Samsung has reportedly decided against offering an in-display selfie camera on the Galaxy S30 series.
It’s believed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first Samsung device with this tech instead.
We’ve already seen the first couple of phones with an in-display selfie camera launching this year, with the ZTE Axon 20 leading the charge. The technology allows for a proper full-screen display, as the camera is hidden below the screen.
Now, Korean outlet The Elec reports that Samsung has decided against offering an in-display selfie camera on the Galaxy S30 series (aka the Galaxy S21 family). The publication reports that Samsung has suffered from low production yields of the technology.
Instead, the Galaxy S30 phones will reportedly pack a center-mounted punch-hole cutout once again, as we saw with the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, and Galaxy Note 10 family. We won’t have to wait too
