Shopping bonanza Amazon Prime Day 2020 has kicked in countries around the world, and Canada is no exception. The two-day shopping event runs through the end of the day (Pacific Time) Wednesday, Oct. 14. We’ve pulled some the most notable deals we’re seeing at Amazon Canada, including on Echo and Fire TV products and compiled them below. (Check out Amazon Canada’s press release for the full list of discounts the retailer has promised.)

Best Samsung smartphone deals for Prime Day 2020

As predicted, we’re seeing lots of opportunities to make huge savings on tech giant Samsung and its smartphones this Prime Day, a good six weeks ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. 

Rearranged from its usual calendar slot in July, Amazon has dropped thousands of Prime Day deals across everything from its smart home devices including its Fire TV sticks and tablets to Apple tech. 

Samsung’s flagship models including the Samsung S20 and the Galaxy Note10 Lite have seen price cuts along with a host of mid-range models, so there’s plenty of choice across Samsung’s roster of devices. 

Remember, Prime Day deals are only available to those with an Amazon Prime subscription, but that does include those signed up to a 30-day free trial or with an Amazon Prime Student membership.

Samsung today, in an official press room release, unveiled its most affordable 5G smartphone, called the Galaxy A42 5G. The phone has tons of features and decent specs under the hood.

Samsung has been on a roll this year, with the release of new smartphones. We have got Galaxy S20 series, Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and tons of mid-rangers in between all of this.

And now, as per new reports, Samsung has taken the wraps off its latest device, the Galaxy A42 5G. The phone has multiple cameras, a fast-charging battery, infinity-U display, and on top of that, 5G support.
