The wait is over–Amazon Prime Day 2020 is officially live, but you don’t have to be a Prime subscriber or even shop at Amazon to get amazing deals today. That’s because this has effectively become a precursor to Black Friday, and competing retailers are getting in on the action with steep discounts on games and tech this week. Best Buy is one of those retailers running a big anti-Prime Day sale of its own, and it made the biggest move we’ve ever seen to compete with Amazon by announcing its first Black Friday deals will go live this week.
Select deals from Best Buy’s Black Friday ad have gone live today, and they feature fantastic discounts on laptops, tablets, and 4K smart TVs along with Arcade1Up cabinets. Notably, you can buy a Samsung 70-inch 4K smart TV for $530, down from its usual $750–just in time for next-gen gaming. There’s
Amazon Prime Day is live and with it are thousands of deals on thousands of items, prominent among them tech devices across the spectrum Amazon devices to laptops and computers and smart home essentials. The sale, which runs throughWednesday, Oct. 14 (as far as we know right now), offers up massive sales on significant items like TVs and mattresses, as well as noteworthy savings on distinct and lower-priced items like gifts, apparel, simple home electronics and even groceries. Though Amazon started this sale in 2015, it has since grown so much that other retailers offer similarly large-scale sales during Prime Day, meaning you have more ways to save. Some of those sales are running at Shopping reader favorite retailers like Wayfair, Walmart and Target. In our coverage of Prime Day sales at Amazon, we’ll be noting top deals and highlighting comparable savings at other retailers to give you an idea

As any film nerd will tell you, what TV you watch movies on matters. So if you’re going to pass on going to the movie theater, you’ll want to make sure you have a quality TV set at home that’s just as good. And you’ll definitely want one that can show 4K video content in all its glory.
When it comes to watching movies and TV shows in glorious full definition, a 4K TV is one of the best options because of its resolution. It’s superior to 1080p TVs in that its horizontal display resolution is about 4,000 pixels—about four times that of the former. The result is noticeable and will make films look much sharper.
But while all 4K TVs have a resolution quality in common, they’re not all the same. Depending on how much space you want to dedicate
NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Alphabet Inc’s Google is facing a new antitrust case in India in which the U.S. tech giant is alleged to have abused its Android operating system’s position in the smart television market, a source and two lawyers involved in the case told Reuters.

Amazon has kicked off another small batch of early Prime Day deals ahead of the main event on October 13. The 48-hour deals bonanza for Prime members had been delayed multiple times this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. With only one week left to go until Amazon Prime Day 2020 officially begins, the company is building hype with a batch of early Prime Day 2020 deals to help you start saving right now.
This is the second week of early Prime Day deals. Last week, Amazon discounted a 4K TV, the Echo Dot, and the Fire TV Recast. Though those deals have ended, you can now save on a trio of 4K Fire TVs, the Kindle Paperwhite, and more. Considering the first TV deal sold out fairly quickly last week, these deals will likely sell out before they officially end on October 12. All Prime Day deals are exclusive
